Part time Nanny
25 hours per week
1 boy, 4.5 years old
We have a fantastic opening for a part-time (flexible) nanny in a Sherman Oaks home that fires on all cylinders. The ideal candidate is an engaging, proactive, and educated nanny for the parent’s 4 year old son.
A typical day in this role might start with some lunch preparation, transport from school, playing in the park before soccer practice, and then heading back home for dinner. These parents would adore a nanny who encourages creative play and intellectual stimulation. The family would love somebody that can handle some errands, light tidying and meal prep. The parents both work full time and dad travels often so flexibility with hours especially during those times is much appreciated.
They would typically need someone Monday and Tuesday 10:30-5:30 and on Thursday 2:00-9:00pm
They also have a loving dog that would welcome walks and to accompany you on school pick-ups! The parents would love someone that is not afraid to get stuck in with the son and what he feels like pursuing, and also offer some structure and guidelines for him to become a responsible little man (they’re already in place but really want a nanny that doesn’t baby or pick up after him etc). They have a beautiful backyard with a pool, swing set, sandbox and other things that can keep you busy for days!
They certainly don’t want a nanny that is stuck to their screen most of the day. A conscientious, caring, nurturing presence is what they are after, as well as someone that can match their sons energy and help him push his physical, emotional and academic boundaries!
