Activity Nanny Needed- $20-25ph
Wednesday – Sunday. (Sleep in Friday – Monday Morning – sleep out Wednesday and Thursday – Monday and Tuesday off).
Educationally based Activity Nanny Sought by Family recently relocated from New York.
Work in conjunction with head nanny who has been with the family many years. Charges are boys: 2,4, and 9 year old (who will be there primarily only during the summer).
The “Activity Nanny” will bring skills to compliment current nanny – who is moving with the family from NYC. Current Nanny will fill the “head nanny” position and is mature and educationally geared and doesn’t swim or drive.
Ideal fit for this position is the yin to her yang and will be a fun, youthful, experienced swimmer and driver with experience in the Santa Monica area.
This role doesn’t need to be filled by a highly experienced nanny – they have that. While teaching and/or some nanny experience is required, this role is going to be filled by someone who is kind and gentle and responsibly fun.
The right nanny for this position knows how to plan educational outings and get the kids out and about to local kid friendly activities. She/he will also assist with the upkeep of the children’s room and properties, oversee the children’s grooming and provide healthy food choices for meals and snacks .
This nanny will be a fun, responsible, participating, adult who will sincerely enjoy the activities (Museums, Disney, music events, local kids fairs, water parks, etc.). she plans for her young charges.
The “Activity Nanny” should, like the first, however, be keenly interested in the children’s education and well being, and look for opportunities to teach reading, science, math in everyday tasks and learning experiences.
Mom works outside of the home during the week and will be around but often busy on Saturday and Sunday. She is, however, involved with the children and keenly interested in their growth and development. She is looking to add to her team someone who will work well with her and other staff in seeing that her goals for her children are met.
